In what section of the state did the MDA say they wanted
to do an eradication?
Updated April 2, 2005
The "Determination
of Ash Host Plant Nuisance and Public Notice of Proposed Eradication Measures,
results of Public Hearing" issued February 9, 2004 by Dan Wyant, Director
of the MDA was supposedly issued as a result of a public hearing as provided
for under the authority of Section
20 of Act
189 of 1931.
Section
20 states that in the notice of public hearing the director shall designate
the "section of the state involved." This was not done.
